This weekend some of our Cubs joined forces with Cubs from the 16th Glasgow Cub Pack... they all went camping together at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre.
The camp had a space theme... the Space Cowboys and Space Cadets dodged aliens whilst gathering moon dust from the swampy surface of planet 'Gillan... then they learnt how to find the North Star and the Big Dipper. When there was a short gap in the rain we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of them too!
A couple of lads spotted a shooting star, and made a wish... did it come true!?
The next day, there was an opportunity to make alien masks, space suits and jet packs...
And then one of the highlights... walking on water! Cross a hamster ball with a Cub with a swimming pool... and you get some really energy zapping fun! 
Each Cub lit their own fire, learnt about the properties of fire and learnt how to grade wood. Then they cooked their own home-made (or is that camp-made) pizza from scratch... delicious!
The campfire was a crazy mix of songs and jokes... we all learnt a few new ones from each other.
Then to round things off there was space station bungee running and grass sledging.
A huge WELL DONE goes to all those who took part... every one of you has earned at least one badge by being there... and there are loads of badges that you've now started working towards.
