District Cub Day at Auchengillan

We've now confirmed that the annual District Cub Activity Day can go ahead. There is no limit on places available, but you need to return the One Day Activity forms by this Friday, with payment of £8.

The forms are being posted out to you - expect them soon. If yours hasn't arrived, you can download a copy... bring it signed with the £8 on Friday!

This should be a great day... here are the details:

Planned Activity: District Cub Activity Day at Auchengillan (on Glasgow – Drymen road, A809)
Activities: There will be a wide range of activities on offer, including some adventurous activities such as climbing, abseiling, crate climbing, bungee running etc. This is an excellent opportunity for Cubs to try loads of new activities!
Date: Saturday 6th June 2009
Meet at: Auchengillan, at 0930 on Saturday 6th June
Collect from: Auchengillan, at approx 1530 on Saturday 6th June (Campfire starts at 1500h)
Cost: £8 per child
Transport: Parents can make their own car sharing arrangements – we’ll see you at Auchengillan. If anyone is struggling, Spud can take a group of upto 4 kids – call me to arrange it!
Weather: It’ll still be on if it rains, just bring plenty of warm and waterproof clothes

Bring:
a packed lunch & a drink
any medications (eg inhalers, epipen)
if you wear boots, bring a pair of trainers for things like climbing etc
a bag with spare clothes – to leave in Spud’s car in case it pours!

Wear:
waterproof jacket
old trousers eg tracksuit (not jeans)
old trainers or boots
